Ep. 99 - Mon Roi (My King) Movie Review

Hollister & O'Toole ring in Bastille Day with a look at the French film Mon Roi (My King) - an intense tale of an amour fou, nominated for 8 César Awards. ​ Starring Vincent Cassel (Black Swan) and Emmanuelle Bercot - who not only took home a very well deserved Best Actress Award at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival for this film (tying with Rooney Mara for Carol) - but who also wrote & directed the festival's opening night film, Standing Tall. ​ Mon Roi is the fourth feature film written & directed by Maïwenn (whose prior film Polisse - co-written by Emmanuelle Bercot - won the Jury Prize at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival). ​ Vive la France!
