Hopper Prize Spring 2022 Grant - The Hopper Prize is a grant-making institution and digital archiving platform offering a series of individual artist grants on a bi-annual basis totaling $22,000.00 USD.
We provide unrestricted cash grants in the amount of $3,500 and $1,000 to artists around the globe.Catapult Film Festival Grant - Catapult gives early support to propel projects forward that hold the promise of a story that should be uniquely told in film. Catapult provides development funding, up to $20,000, to documentary filmmakers who have a strong story to tell, have secured access, and are ready to create a fundraising piece to help unlock critical production funding.
The Frameline Completion Fund, supported by The Williams & Hart Rainbow Fund of Horizons Foundation, provides grants to emerging and established filmmakers. This program seeks to provide a much-needed source of financial contributions to artists who often struggle to secure funding to complete their works. Grants up to $5,000 are available for the completion of films that represent and reflect LGBTQ+ life in all its complexity and richness. Opens in August.
The CAAM Documentaries for Social Change Fund, supported by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, offers grants for social issue documentary films that highlight Asian American narratives. This Fund will provide much needed resources to projects for research and development and in early production. Currently closed.
